Brother John R. Hall graduated from Shortridge High School and Ball State University. He pursued graduate studies at Indiana University (IU) and Depauw. He taught History and Government and coached Freshman Track and was the Trainer for all sports.
Brother Hall directed the Minority Engineering Advancement Program (MEAP) at Purdue-Indianapolis. He served as Assistant State Director for U.S. Richard G. Lugar; and Deputy Mayor of Indianapolis under Stephen Goldsmith; then Director of Neighborhood Relations for the Health and Hospital Corporation. Presently he serves as Field Office Director for HUD Indiana. He serves on the Boards of the Fund for Hoosier Excellence, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, and the Greater Indianapolis Health Foundation. His two sons, Michael E. Hall and Stephen A. TrahanMiller reside in Brooklyn.
Brother Hall currently serves as the Staff Parish Team Leader at Barnes.
