Michael Fluckus

Michael Fluckus LeadershipBrother Michael “Mike” Fluckus retired from Decatur Central High School in 2002 as an Administrator. Then he was a Consultant in the Decatur Township School system until 2014. He has served as the Circle City Classic Coronation Producer for twenty (20) years. The Coronation selects from High School Senior Young Ladies who are competing for the title of Queen of the Circle City Classic. Their main emphasis is on class standing, community, and church involvement. The winner is awarded scholarships. He was also Production Coordinator with Channel 8 as the production was being televised.

At Barnes UMC, he was blessed to have served as Leadership Council President and have had terms on the Trustee Board. Brother Fluckus has also served on the board of “PraiseStage Productions” under the dynamically wonderful Mrs. Ethel Brewer-McCane. Currently he is the Host of the Monthly Internet Talk Show, “Church Chat,” which looks at every aspect of the human experience from a Christian perspective.

Brother Fluckus’ hobbies include: Photography, Computer-aided Programs, and DVD Production. He currently serves as the Facility Team Leader for Barnes UMC.

He is happily married to Colette and they have three daughters, Vanessa (Andrew) Lmamba, Erica and Jeni Grundy as well as one son, David Black. Also an extended family in Nairobi, Kenya.
